Selection Logic

How to Select the Correct A-Frame Gantry Configuration

General Hook Lifting

Start with MG when the process is conventional hook lifting across a fixed rail-mounted yard.

Electric-Hoist Duty

MHS or KSMHS can be considered where a double-main-girder bridge is desired but an electric-hoist lifting mechanism is sufficient.

Two-Point / Long Loads

ME provides two trolley positions for long or large loads requiring independent or joint lifting.

Bulk Materials

MZ is dedicated to repetitive grab-bucket handling, while MN combines grab and hook functions.

Magnetic Steel

MC is the dedicated electromagnetic family; MEN combines electromagnetic lifting and conventional hook handling with two trolleys.

Metallurgical Process

MGY adds gantry-hook lifting, heat protection and metallurgical process controls for ladles and slag pots.

Construction / Precast

MGG uses double main girders with truss / steel-pipe legs for bridge, road and temporary construction lifting.

Mobile A-Frame Transport

The A-Frame Rubber-Tired Gantry Crane is the explicit current A-frame mobile product for bridge, wind-energy and heavy civil components.

A-Type configuration

Compare A-type capacities and spans, then send your site plan and lifting cycle for a matched technical proposal.

Engineering Checks

A-Frame Procurement & Engineering Requirements

Ground-Level Clear Opening

Inclined legs reduce usable width near ground level. Specify the largest load, vehicle and turning envelope at the exact critical elevation.

Wheel / Tire Loads

Rail-mounted configurations require wheel-load and foundation checks; rubber-tired configurations require tire / axle load and pavement checks.

Cantilever

Outside-span pickup positions change girder bending, leg reactions and crane stability and should be fixed before final structural design.

Wind & Parking

Outdoor A-frame systems require operating-wind, parked-wind and anchoring / rail-clamp or mobile parking requirements.

Load Geometry

Long beams, magnetic loads, grabs, ladles and mobile components each impose different lifting-point, attachment and clearance requirements.

Final GA Drawing

Do not purchase from the structural name alone. Confirm leg inclination, clear opening, overall width, span, cantilever and wheel / tire geometry on the final general-arrangement drawing.
