Gardens and lakeside visits
The groups walked beside Slender West Lake and photographed the spring scenery. At He Garden, participants explored the courtyards, galleries and landscaped areas.
The two visits introduced the eastern-China itinerary through Yangzhou’s gardens and historic surroundings.
An evening in Dongguan Street
The programme continued with an organised meal and time to explore Dongguan Street. Support personnel accompanied the parents during the day and the evening activities.
After the Yangzhou stop, the groups prepared for Shanghai as the next stage of the six-day tour.
