Budget planning

How much does an insulated overhead crane cost?

The price depends on the lifting arrangement, isolation interfaces and agreed tests, as well as load, span and duty. Request an itemized quotation for the crane and process conditions you specify.

Configuration Equipment price
QY single-trolley insulated overhead crane Request a configured quotation
QYE double-trolley insulated overhead crane Request a configured quotation

Send the load, span, hook travel and duty with the process electrical conditions and required insulation tests. For QYE, include each hook load, permitted combined load and hook spacing.

Confirm the bridge, trolleys, controls and insulation package, then identify the status of runway steel, rails, power feed, freight, import charges, installation, commissioning and site tests.

Workshop arrangement

QYE two-trolley workshop arrangement

QYE provides two lifting positions on one bridge for separate handling tasks or an approved shared lift. Match the hook spacing and individual loads to the component and its lifting points.

Specify the insulating interfaces on both lifting paths, including any fixture linking the hooks. The technical offer should identify the insulation components, verification and operating cases for the ordered crane.

Insulated crane buying questions

Should I choose QY or QYE for my process?

Choose QY when one trolley provides the required hook coverage; listed options include a single hook or main and auxiliary hooks. Choose QYE for two trolley positions serving separate loads or an approved two-point lift. State the complete suspended load, lifting-point reactions, hook spacing and movement sequence. Main/auxiliary or individual trolley ratings do not automatically add up to an approved combined lifting capacity.

What insulation requirements should the quotation cover?

Identify the process electrical conditions, load connections and attachments, then agree the insulating interfaces, required performance, test method and records. State dust, humidity, heat, fumes and cleaning exposure, with inspection and replacement access. Process isolation requirements are separate from the crane's incoming power supply. The specified insulation interfaces do not establish a rating for live electrical work.

What is needed for a price and delivery proposal?

Start with the maximum load, span, required hook travel, handling cycle and destination. Add process electrical conditions and the isolation/test requirements; for QYE, include hook spacing and load at each lifting point. Ask for an itemized scope covering crane equipment, insulating components, controls, drawings, tests, packing, freight, installation and commissioning, with warranty terms and recommended spares. Confirm dates after the configuration and drawing scope are agreed.
