Read capacities, lifting heights, speeds and duty as matched configurations. Main and auxiliary hooks have separate ratings and speeds; their capacities are not automatically additive. Slow main-hook lifting does not mean slow trolley or bridge travel, or establish positioning accuracy.

Slow speed QD crane pricing

Confirm the main and auxiliary hook ratings, span, lifting height and speed of each motion in a USD quotation. Include the operating duty, control arrangement and site delivery requirements.

Confirm main and auxiliary hoisting speeds separately. Slow hoisting does not set the trolley or bridge travel speed; agree each motion and the required operating duty.

Installation & maintenance

Plan the final placement move before choosing the crane

Equipment installation and maintenance can require a short final lowering move after the load has travelled across the bay. Define the complete suspended load, pickup height, obstruction clearances and set-down point before choosing the QD capacity and hoisting speed.

Specify main and auxiliary hook tasks separately, with the required approach speed and movement sequence. Confirm trolley and bridge speeds, operator visibility, braking and site acceptance tests in the technical offer.

Slow-speed QD crane buying questions

Does a slow-speed QD crane move slowly in every direction?

The listed slow-speed configuration refers to main-hook lifting. Trolley travel, bridge travel and auxiliary lifting have their own schedules. Specify the required speed for each motion, the approach to the set-down point and how the operator sees the load. If you need variable-speed control, creeping travel or an anti-sway function, include it in the technical brief rather than assuming it follows from the slow-speed model name.

How do I choose the load rating and main or auxiliary hook?

Include the component, rigging and detachable attachment in the lifting brief, then check each hook rating separately. A rating such as 20/5 t identifies a main and an auxiliary hoist; it does not authorize a combined 25 t lift. Match the selected capacity to span, useful hook travel, load distribution and operating cycle. Reduced speed alone does not establish the duty class or a positioning tolerance.

What is needed for a complete quotation?

Send the load, lifting points, span, hook height, runway length and delivery country. Add required speeds for each motion, lifts per shift, site power, clearances and a sketch of the installation route. Agree the crane equipment, runway steel, electrical supply, freight, erection and commissioning scope. Request drawings, wheel loads, inspection and load-test records, manuals, warranty terms and the delivery schedule.
