A-type gantry crane buying questions
Is an A-type crane the same as a double-girder crane?
A-type describes the supporting legs; double girder describes the bridge. The lifting mechanism and trolley arrangement are separate features.
Can two trolleys lift one long load?
Yes, within the selected operating mode. Each trolley’s rating, lifting-point spacing and permitted shared load are specified together; the two ratings are not automatically additive.
Can I enquire while dimensions are unknown?
Yes. Start with the load, approximate span or clear width, useful hook height and destination. Leave unknown dimensions blank; an optional sketch helps explain the material route.
