Industry specialists review technical requirements
The overhead and gantry crane subcommittee of the national crane standardisation committee organised the meeting. Specialists from inspection, research and manufacturing organisations reviewed technical indicators, safety requirements and application suitability.
The discussions produced agreed meeting conclusions and proposed revisions for further standards work. For a purchasing contract, identify the applicable standard and edition explicitly so design, manufacture and acceptance are reviewed against the same requirements.
