Training connects instruction with practical exercises
Participants included workshop and team leaders, part-time safety personnel and members of the factory’s fire emergency-response group. Case videos supported instruction on fire prevention, alarms, basic extinguisher use and evacuation.
Practical exercises gave participants an opportunity to work through response tasks alongside the classroom session. The activities formed part of the factory’s November safety programme.
Safety work across the manufacturing site
The wider programme included leadership activities in workshops, inspections, corrective work and a knowledge competition. These activities address the organisation of safety work across production functions.
For customer visits and witnessed inspections, factory access and the inspection route should be coordinated with the receiving team. A planned visit allows the participants to review equipment at the agreed production stage within the factory’s site arrangements.
