Project acceptance follows an agreed inspection outline
The experts reviewed the equipment against the A-inspection requirements established for the Baosteel programme. This project stage brings customer and supplier representatives together to assess the equipment before the next delivery milestone.
The inspection outline provides the framework for the review. The checks and records required for a new crane order should be defined for its configuration and intended operating task.
Set out acceptance requirements before manufacturing
For a crane purchase, identify the factory witness points, review documents and operating demonstrations required by the customer. Agree the acceptance criteria and the responsibilities of the participating organisations in the technical order.
Manufacturing review, factory tests and site commissioning are separate stages of the delivery plan. The order should establish what must be completed at each stage and how outstanding items are closed.
Prepare a traceable release package
Use the equipment and order references consistently across drawings, inspection records and dispatch documents. This helps the receiving team connect the delivered crane with the configuration reviewed at the factory.
Include your inspection requirements and proposed witness schedule with the enquiry, allowing the manufacturing and delivery programme to accommodate the agreed review points.
