Incoming materials and in-process checks
The programme included material selection and inspection before machining, fabrication and assembly. Checks continued through the production stages, with equipment assembled before dispatch.
A consistent drawing and configuration reference helps connect these stages. Order-specific material, dimensional and inspection requirements should be confirmed before manufacturing begins.
Test facilities support development and review
The company’s crane performance and life-testing laboratory works alongside nine crane test stands, including 1,200 t and 1,000 t facilities. The resources support design optimisation, quality-control work and life-assessment research.
The capacity of a test stand identifies a facility characteristic. A customer’s acceptance plan should state which tests apply to the ordered machine and the configuration to be demonstrated.
Set out the acceptance package with the order
Define required records, factory witness stages and the checks remaining after site erection. The manufacturing team can then schedule the order around the agreed review milestones.
Provide the crane’s load range, working cycle and environmental requirements so the technical and inspection scope follows the actual application.
