A project review covering records and powered functions

The review involved specialists from the Baosteel Zhanjiang project team, Ouyeel Industrial Products, Dalian Baoxin and Shanghai Jinyi. They examined self-inspection records, material reports and non-destructive-testing documentation, then carried out powered trials of hoisting, trolley travel, crane travel and electrical systems.

The inspected items met the project’s A-inspection outline and applicable national requirements. This combination of document review and operating checks is relevant to a steelworks purchaser coordinating the crane, its lifting beam and the site acceptance programme.

Controlled movement with condition monitoring

PLC control and variable-frequency drives provide controlled speed changes and positioning. The crane also incorporates safety monitoring and a CMS condition-monitoring system for operating-state information and abnormal-condition warnings. An interface is reserved for a future upgrade to unattended operation.

For a dual-hook lifting-beam arrangement, load geometry and lifting-point spacing influence how the beam and hooks work together. Controlled movement helps manage pickup, travel and placement, while monitoring provides information for operating and maintenance decisions. The provision for a later automation upgrade forms part of the project’s equipment planning.

Manufacturing progress and procurement coordination

Ouyeel Industrial Products supported procurement of the complete crane and associated components, as well as quality coordination. Henan Mine Crane brought together its production team and major-project team to manage the demanding schedule and component interfaces. The two-month improvement refers specifically to manufacturing completion against this project’s original plan.

For a comparable order, the lifting-beam arrangement, component responsibilities and review milestones need to be agreed as one package. The factory document dossier and witnessed operating checks can then be scheduled around the equipment’s actual configuration and the steelworks’ delivery requirements.
