Control the first insulation process
The extrusion stage applies insulation around the conductor before subsequent stranding and cable assembly. Li checks mould temperature, screw speed and pulling speed as part of the working setup.
Her method combines checks of raw-material moisture, equipment parameters and mould wear before production. During operation, she reviews colour consistency, insulation-thickness variation and pulling stability.
Production output and repeated-motion testing
The workshop profile describes daily insulated-core production reaching 100,000 metres. Separately, the company’s cable-chain and cable life-test stand completed 270,000 repeated cycles during a year of testing without reported quality defects in the tested chain and cable.
Those test results apply to the tested arrangement. A crane cable specification should identify the motion path, bend conditions, electrical requirements and the acceptance evidence needed for the ordered equipment.
Skills development and new insulation materials
Li works with newer personnel through practical training and process-development sessions. Her group also investigates the suitability of new polymer insulation materials within the extrusion process.
The work connects manufacturing experience with cable development as the company expands its cable production operations.
