Structure planned around manufacture and site assembly

The crane uses a double-girder, double-track structural arrangement and a towed trolley. Its modular design addresses manufacture, transportation, installation and maintenance within the project’s equipment plan.

A 550 t installation requires the load interface and working geometry to be defined alongside rated capacity. The receiving facility’s clearances, supporting structure and installation resources are part of that review.

Distributed control and variable-frequency drives

The machine uses an all-variable-frequency rectification and regenerative drive system. Distributed PLC control provides control, protection and interlocking functions across the equipment.

The offered control scope for a new project should identify how mechanisms are coordinated and how protective responses are verified. Site-specific operating and acceptance requirements need to be included in the technical order.

CMS monitoring connects equipment information

A crane management system provides live equipment-state monitoring, information collection, system management, video monitoring and remote-client access. These functions give the operating team access to information about the installed crane.

Define which data, alarms and remote functions are required, together with the plant’s access and integration arrangements. Monitoring requirements should be agreed with the team that will operate and maintain the equipment.

Prepare a heavy-lifting project specification

Supply the lifted equipment weights, dimensions, lifting points, handling route and required operating sequence. Include project documentation, witness-inspection and commissioning requirements so the proposal addresses the receiving facility’s acceptance scope.
