Handling large assemblies through a manufacturing plant
The Tangxing programme comprises more than 100 cranes and equipment sets. They support the park’s production and material handling, while the completed Yimeng No. 1 tunnel-boring machine is the finished machinery described in the announcement.
Crane capacity for this type of factory must be related to the parts lifted at each production stage. Individual components, subassemblies and final assemblies can have different weights, centres of gravity and lifting-point layouts. A factory-wide equipment count does not replace that lifting schedule.
A separate 100 t laboratory installation
The update also describes three 100 t new-type double-girder cranes used at a national laboratory for deep-coal mining safety and environmental protection. This is a separate laboratory application, with its own lifting requirements; those ratings should not be applied to every crane in the Tangxing industrial park.
Plan crane coverage around the assembly sequence
For a tunnel-boring equipment workshop, provide component drawings, maximum lifted weights including rigging, lifting points and the sequence of assembly moves. Include workshop span, hook coverage, available headroom and access needed by production staff.
Where an assembly requires coordinated lifting, identify the load-sharing and movement requirements before comparing proposals. The quotation should distinguish crane coverage for routine component handling from the specific arrangement needed for the largest assembled unit.
