Heavy-component handling within a manufacturing programme
Boiler manufacturing requires controlled movement of large components between fabrication and assembly positions. The dispatched crane uses a double-girder arrangement with precision-positioning and remote-control functions developed for the production task.
The wider equipment programme comprises six 400 t cranes and seventeen other cranes. Their individual roles and coordinated operating arrangements must follow the approved lifting plan; adding the nameplate capacities does not establish an allowable combined lift.
Define positioning and coordinated operation
For comparable heavy-component work, provide the component weight, dimensions, centre of gravity and lifting-point arrangement. Include the assembly sequence, travel envelope and any operations involving more than one crane.
A technical proposal should identify the positioning function, operator controls and coordination method for the required sequence. The programme also incorporates energy-related design features, whose operating benefit depends on the loads, movements and duty cycle at the factory.
Prepare the factory for delivery and erection
Dispatch is one milestone within the equipment programme. Unloading, assembly, runway readiness, electrical interfaces and commissioning must be coordinated with the receiving factory.
Include the site layout and heavy-component handling sequence with an enquiry. These inputs allow the crane arrangement and acceptance demonstrations to be planned around the actual manufacturing process.
