A joint laboratory for manufacturing and application research

Vice President Ren Haitao signed the agreement during the seventh Henan University Research and Technology Expo. The laboratory brings university research and crane-manufacturing experience into a shared development programme.

Research, process optimisation and talent development form the stated areas of cooperation. Application work can connect equipment development with the operating conditions and material flows of industrial customers.

Process-specific equipment at the exhibition

Henan Mine displayed a multifunction crane for electrolytic-zinc production and a fully automatic brewing crane. The exhibits represent specialised handling tasks with different materials, attachments and operating environments.

A process-crane enquiry should define the material to be handled, the lifting interface and the sequence of operations. For automated handling, include the required control interfaces and exception-management arrangements so the proposal addresses the production process as well as the lifting machine.
