Cable manufacture within the factory organisation
The programme connects cable production with the company’s wheels, attachments, motors, reducers and crane assembly. The cable workshop forms another part of the manufacturing supply chain.
Cable design considers conductivity, flexibility and resistance to the intended operating conditions. The required properties depend on how the cable is installed and moves on the machine.
Specify the electrical and movement conditions
A crane enquiry should include the power supply, mechanism arrangement and cable-routing requirements. For moving cables, define the travel path, operating frequency and environmental conditions.
The technical offer should identify the supplied cable arrangement and required inspection evidence. Electrical requirements and repeated movement need to be assessed together for the installation.
