A multi-crane package follows the production layout
The equipment serves several production lines with different handling tasks. The two 100 t machines provide intelligent handling functions within the wider package.
Capacity, attachment and control requirements need to be established for each line rather than applied uniformly across the plant.
Position tracking and equipment controls
The intelligent functions include station identification and crane-position tracking. Variable-frequency drives support movement control, with fault self-diagnosis and automatic operation functions.
The configuration also includes redundancy and monitoring. The supplied functions and their operating conditions should be set out in the technical offer for a new order.
Plan commissioning by line and phase
Provide the material flow, pickup and delivery positions, and the required control interfaces for each area. Identify how tasks are issued and how operators handle an interrupted cycle.
A phased programme needs acceptance and site-readiness milestones for each equipment group. These requirements help coordinate crane manufacture with the production-line installation schedule.
