Carbon-Block Stacking Crane Enters Service at Shandong Furnace Project

Henan Mine Crane developed a carbon-block stacking crane for a new carbon-material baking-furnace project in Shandong, where the equipment entered operation in late 2023.

Twin attachments with guided movement

The crane uses box-section double girders, one trolley and two lifting attachments. Integrated variable-frequency drives support smooth movement. The attachments use rigid guide columns and multiple guided-wheel sets and can operate independently or together.

Electrical equipment is concentrated in a distribution room with industrial recirculating air conditioning for the hot, dusty environment. Hoisting protection includes limits, emergency operation and monitoring.

Specify block and furnace handling requirements

Provide block dimensions, batch mass, furnace layout, ambient temperature and transfer sequence. Review gripping, guiding and discharge requirements with the crane configuration.
