Clamps address hot-slab handling
The project operates in a radiantly hot environment with slab temperatures reaching above 650°C. The crane design uses high-strength materials and a guided handling arrangement for controlled movement and positioning.
Clamp adjustment must match slab dimensions and the intended contact positions. Temperature exposure and grip geometry are central to the specification for this application.
Monitoring provides information for operation
The supplied systems include PLC control, weighing, fault displays and positioning devices. These functions establish a foundation for a future automation upgrade.
The delivered configuration and any later upgrade need separate scopes, with the operating modes and acceptance requirements agreed for each stage.
Prepare the slab-handling duty for a proposal
Provide minimum and maximum slab dimensions, weights, temperatures and pickup positions. Include the storage arrangement, cycle frequency and required destination accuracy.
Define how the 50 + 50 t arrangement is used for the load-handling sequence. The technical offer should identify permissible combinations, clamp functions and the demonstration required at acceptance.
