Positioning from the hook to the warehouse

The cranes use variable-frequency drives and PLC control. Hoisting encoders and Gray-bus positioning for trolley and crane travel support coordinated movement. Three-dimensional scanning and visual detection identify material and support automatic positioning, gripping and obstacle avoidance.

Intelligent lifting tools include detection switches. Anti-sway functions support controlled transfer, while a dedicated control-room server integrates WCS scheduling and WMS warehouse management. Handling records can be captured across the transfer process.

Define the material and system interfaces

For a similar installation, provide cable-package dimensions, weights, grip surfaces, storage coordinates and throughput requirements. The automation proposal also needs the warehouse software interface, transfer-point layout and the operating rules for people or vehicles entering the crane area.
