Research capacity behind application-specific equipment
The award programme is organised by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. The recognised project concerns crane development with autonomous sensing capability.
At the time of the announcement, the company reported more than 200 mid- and senior-level engineers and more than ten industry specialists within its technical organisation. Research facilities include an enterprise technology centre and crane-technology laboratories.
Start with the handling task
For intelligent crane selection, define the load to be detected, transfer positions, required control modes and the surrounding production interfaces. Sensing and automation functions should be reviewed against those specific operating requirements.
