Structure developed for ship-section handling

A trapezoidal main beam connects an I-shaped rigid leg with an A-shaped flexible leg. Stairs and an elevator provide access on the rigid-leg side to the upper structure and cab.

The hoisting arrangement includes rope-retention protection, while the travel system provides automatic and manual skew correction.

Coordinated hooks and operating protection

PLC and variable-frequency control coordinate multiple hooks with millimetre-level positioning. Monitoring includes collision avoidance and wind and fire protection. A shipbuilding crane enquiry should include section weights, lifting-point geometry, turning procedures, assembly positions and site wind conditions.
