Heavy lifting within a wider equipment package
The 400 t machine is one part of the multi-crane supply. Its configuration addresses the large-component handling task, while other equipment supports the facility’s wider manufacturing requirements.
A comparable project needs the component geometry, lifting points and transfer route defined alongside capacity. The site layout establishes the span, clearances and working envelope required by the gantry.
Drive control and anti-sway functions
PLC and inverter communications control the mechanisms, with digital filtering supporting movement accuracy. Brake-logic control, anti-sway functions and a high-speed light-load mode form part of the operating arrangement.
The permitted speeds and operating conditions should be specified for each load mode. Acceptance demonstrations need to establish the functions supplied with the actual machine.
Operator information and monitoring
The cabin uses an integrated rotating control console. Safety and data-monitoring systems display equipment information for the operator.
