01 / PROJECT CONTEXT

The project and its handling task.

Wanli New Energy Smart Dry Port in Ordos received a customized rail-mounted container gantry crane from Henan Mine Crane. The equipment serves daily loading and unloading in a logistics project with a stated annual throughput target of five million tonnes.

Schneider variable-frequency drives and Siemens PLC control provide the motion platform. RCMS remote monitoring and operation, anti-sway, automatic container search, spreader zero-position monitoring and automatic guidance support the container-handling sequence.

02 / HANDLING REQUIREMENTS

Handle daily dry-port traffic with controlled container positioning.

A dry port must move containers across truck lanes and stacks without lifting a trailer or losing control of the spreader.

Container mix and gross mass

Identify the container and confirm the truck has reached a safe transfer position.

Truck lanes and rail gauge

Monitor spreader engagement and sway as the container moves to its stack.

Stack height and annual/peak moves

Guide the spreader to the assigned slot and verify release.

Remote-control and vehicle safeguards

Guide the spreader to the assigned slot and verify release.

03 / SUPPLIED SYSTEM

The equipment behind this project.

Schneider variable-frequency drives and Siemens PLC control provide the motion platform. RCMS remote monitoring and operation, anti-sway, automatic container search, spreader zero-position monitoring and automatic guidance support the container-handling sequence.

06 / PROJECT OUTCOME

Delivered and in use.

The crane was delivered and put into use at the dry port. Integrated guidance and vehicle protection support daily container handling within the inland logistics project.

For a similar project, use a rail-mounted container gantry with variable-frequency travel, PLC control, anti-sway and truck anti-lift protection. Coordinate automatic container search and spreader guidance with the terminal's operating positions.

07 / PLAN A SIMILAR PROJECT

Prepare a comparable crane quotation.

Share the load schedule and site drawings. Use a rail-mounted container gantry with variable-frequency travel, PLC control, anti-sway and truck anti-lift protection. Coordinate automatic container search and spreader guidance with the terminal's operating positions.

We can quote a single crane or a coordinated fleet. The offer sets out the destination standards, required certificates and inspection records, manufacturing programme after drawing approval, shipment, installation support and agreed acceptance scope.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Questions before specifying a similar crane.

Can the same project crane be supplied for my site?

We customize the capacity, span, lifting height, attachment and controls to the load, building or yard layout and operating cycle. Container mix and gross mass is one of the inputs to review before final equipment selection.

How are certification, quantity and lead time agreed?

Single-crane and fleet enquiries are welcome. Define the destination and required standards in the enquiry. The project offer confirms certification and inspection documents, the quantity, drawing approval and manufacturing schedule, with the shipping and site-service boundaries.

What should acceptance and after-sales support include?

Agree the inspection plan, representative load and functional tests, operator training, maintenance instructions, spare-parts scope and fault-recovery procedures. For this application, include remote-control and vehicle safeguards in the technical review.
