01 / PROJECT CONTEXT

The project and its handling task.

Henan Mine Crane supplied 12 crane units of different types for the assembly programme of China’s first domestically built large cruise ship. The lifting equipment supports the movement and placement of selected parts during ship construction.

The ship programme involves a very large number of components and coordinated assembly operations. The crane package therefore connects individual pickup and placement tasks with the shipyard’s manufacturing sequence rather than treating the vessel as one suspended load.

02 / HANDLING REQUIREMENTS

Coordinate many component lifts during ship final assembly.

Cruise-ship construction joins large blocks and numerous smaller systems, requiring careful crane coverage and hand-offs between trades.

Block and equipment load list

Verify weight, lift points and staging at the shipyard.

Shipyard bay or dock layout

Coordinate crane travel with adjacent crews and structures.

Rigging and fit-up sequence

Confirm fit-up support and the next work team's access.

Concurrent crane and trade schedule

Confirm fit-up support and the next work team's access.

06 / PROJECT OUTCOME

Equipment supplied for ship assembly.

The crane equipment supported the ship’s assembly stage. The package provides handling coverage for component movement within the wider construction programme.

For a similar project, allocate cranes to the shipbuilding production stages from block transport through outfitting. Match attachments and controlled travel to component geometry while reserving access for surrounding assembly work.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Questions before specifying a similar crane.

Can the same project crane be supplied for my site?

We customize the capacity, span, lifting height, attachment and controls to the load, building or yard layout and operating cycle. Block and equipment load list is one of the inputs to review before final equipment selection.

How are certification, quantity and lead time agreed?

Single-crane and fleet enquiries are welcome. Define the destination and required standards in the enquiry. The project offer confirms certification and inspection documents, the quantity, drawing approval and manufacturing schedule, with the shipping and site-service boundaries.

What should acceptance and after-sales support include?

Agree the inspection plan, representative load and functional tests, operator training, maintenance instructions, spare-parts scope and fault-recovery procedures. For this application, include concurrent crane and trade schedule in the technical review.
