Automated Electro-Permanent Magnet Crane: Equipment Development Case
A rigid-guide-column magnet beam crane combines automatic dispatch, twin hoist motors and electro-permanent magnetic lifting.

The project and its handling task.
Henan Mine Crane developed an automated electromagnetic carrier-beam crane around digital control and a customized mechanical arrangement. The system is designed for automatic pickup and transfer of compatible ferrous loads.
Rigid guide columns provide anti-sway guidance. The hoisting arrangement uses two motors, and electro-permanent lifting magnets retain magnetization without continuous power for holding. Automatic crane avoidance in the same bay and nearest-position dispatch coordinate shared operating coverage.
Move steel stock automatically with retained magnetic grip.
Steel stock handling requires repeatable pickup, accurate placement and a safe response if electrical supply is interrupted.
Determine dimensions and pickup pattern for each target load.
Verify magnet engagement before guided, anti-sway movement.
Check the target position and safe demagnetization sequence.

What to compare with your own project.
Match the project configuration to your load, layout and operating sequence before selecting a crane package.
| Design area | This project configuration | Define for your site |
|---|---|---|
| Load guidance | Rigid guide-column anti-sway | Steel stock sizes and surface condition. Define the required operating envelope and acceptance checks in your technical brief. |
| Hoisting arrangement | Two hoist motors | Destination map. Define the required operating envelope and acceptance checks in your technical brief. |
| Attachment | Electro-permanent magnetic lifting | Power-loss and grip requirements. Define the required operating envelope and acceptance checks in your technical brief. |
| Automatic scheduling | Same-bay crane avoidance and nearest-position dispatch | Multi-crane avoidance rules. Define the required operating envelope and acceptance checks in your technical brief. |

Equipment development.
The development integrates mechanical guidance, magnetic attachment technology and automated dispatch. It provides an equipment approach for ferrous-material handling where pickup reliability and shared-bay coordination are central requirements.
For a similar project, configure a guided electromagnetic-beam crane around the stock dimensions and destination map. Electro-permanent magnets, rigid guidance, dual hoist motors and collision avoidance support automatic task dispatch with selectable local and remote modes.

Questions before specifying a similar crane.
Can the same project crane be supplied for my site?
We customize the capacity, span, lifting height, attachment and controls to the load, building or yard layout and operating cycle. Steel stock sizes and surface condition is one of the inputs to review before final equipment selection.
How are certification, quantity and lead time agreed?
Single-crane and fleet enquiries are welcome. Define the destination and required standards in the enquiry. The project offer confirms certification and inspection documents, the quantity, drawing approval and manufacturing schedule, with the shipping and site-service boundaries.
What should acceptance and after-sales support include?
Agree the inspection plan, representative load and functional tests, operator training, maintenance instructions, spare-parts scope and fault-recovery procedures. For this application, include multi-crane avoidance rules in the technical review.
Planning a similar lifting project?
Send your layout, load and operating requirements. We can develop a customized crane package and delivery scope for your site.
