Two Automated Coke Pot Cranes for a Coking Plant
Two coke pot cranes combine variable-frequency motion, remote video supervision and mechanical-assisted anti-sway for repeated process transfers.

The project and its handling task.
Henan Mine Crane designed and manufactured two automated coke pot crane systems for a domestic coking enterprise. Their task is to move coke pots through the production route with consistent positioning and controlled travel.
The equipment uses variable-frequency speed control throughout. Remote video and human-machine interfaces support automatic operation, while centralized electrical control and mechanical-assisted anti-sway stabilize the pot during the transfer sequence.
Transfer coke pots with remote supervision and controlled anti-sway.
Coke pot handling repeats high-temperature movements where operator exposure and load swing can disrupt the charging or quenching sequence.
Confirm pot geometry, lifted mass and engagement points at the furnace side.
Control acceleration and sway through the transfer path with position checks.
Confirm the release point and reset the crane for the next pot without exposing staff to the hot zone.

What to compare with your own project.
Match the project configuration to your load, layout and operating sequence before selecting a crane package.
| Design area | This project configuration | Define for your site |
|---|---|---|
| Quantity | 2 coke pot crane systems | Filled pot and lifting gear mass. Define the required operating envelope and acceptance checks in your technical brief. |
| Drives | Variable-frequency speed control | Furnace and discharge coordinates. Define the required operating envelope and acceptance checks in your technical brief. |
| Operating mode | Automatic operation with remote video and human-machine interfaces | Thermal exposure and cycle time. Define the required operating envelope and acceptance checks in your technical brief. |
| Load control | Centralized electrical control and mechanical-assisted anti-sway | Video, control and recovery requirements. Define the required operating envelope and acceptance checks in your technical brief. |

In operation.
Both crane systems were put into use. Their process-specific arrangement supports coke pot transfers with integrated positioning, supervision and sway control.
For a similar project, use a purpose-designed pot crane with variable-frequency travel, precise position feedback and a coordinated electrical and mechanical anti-sway system. Video supervision and human-machine controls allow the route to run automatically while retaining a recovery procedure.

Questions before specifying a similar crane.
Can the same project crane be supplied for my site?
We customize the capacity, span, lifting height, attachment and controls to the load, building or yard layout and operating cycle. Filled pot and lifting gear mass is one of the inputs to review before final equipment selection.
How are certification, quantity and lead time agreed?
Single-crane and fleet enquiries are welcome. Define the destination and required standards in the enquiry. The project offer confirms certification and inspection documents, the quantity, drawing approval and manufacturing schedule, with the shipping and site-service boundaries.
What should acceptance and after-sales support include?
Agree the inspection plan, representative load and functional tests, operator training, maintenance instructions, spare-parts scope and fault-recovery procedures. For this application, include video, control and recovery requirements in the technical review.
Planning a similar lifting project?
Send your layout, load and operating requirements. We can develop a customized crane package and delivery scope for your site.
